ABOUT THE IRISH BAROQUE ORCHESTRA
For the past **Apply on the website** years the Irish Baroque
Orchestra has occupied a special place in Ireland?s rich arts
landscape. Their mission is to bring international-standard
historically-informed performance (HIP) to audiences in Ireland and
abroad, cultivating audience appreciation and deepening the
understanding of Baroque and Classical music. Through its education
work, IBO nurtures the next generation of professional period
instrument players and stimulates interest in HIP for musicians of all
ages. As **Apply on the website** Olivier Award winners for
'Outstanding Achievement in Opera,' further development of its profile
now sees the IBO reaching expanding audiences overseas, building on

The IBO uses its voice to drive development of the HIP movement at
European level, through work with peer organisations. It is
represented on the board for the European Early Music Network.
